For those who don't know me and already think "My god, this guy is full of himself" , relax...I am just super excited to going back having my own blog again.
I took a loooooooong break but eventually decided to start all over with the new EPL season around the corner. It has been an exciting Football Summer with this highly entertaining World CUP (Congrats France!) and all the new players that have been transferred into the EPL. I am also excited about the new teams, especially the Wolves...but let's start at the beginning.
Over the next 10 days this blog will give you a complete overview of the best picks for your team and also show you possible captain picks for every game week until we crown the 2018/1019 English Premier League Champion. On top of that I will set up a Slack server to discuss strategy and maybe find some guest writers who want to share their knowledge with our community. A Facebook group is also possible, whatever suits you guys best.

Many of you play in leagues on www.premierleague.com, maybe with friends, maybe in random leagues just for fun. Some might have played on Togga, but that site is dead and any follow up sites do not look very promising either.
I play only on Fanteam because you can actually win something. At the moment they offer a tournament where you pay €22 to participate and the guaranteed prize pool is €100.000!!!
That means the first prize pays €20.000!!! That is amazing value for just €22 for a WHOLE SEASON!
I really think that the times where you play for signed Football Jersey or a Ball are over, your knowledge should be rewarded in money and this is your chance.
You can see the pictures around my blog with the advertisement for Fanteam, if you click that link you will be forwarded to their page, after you clicked "Register" on the upper right side and created your account, you will be tracked under my account which will give you weekly goodies!
After you registered, entered your details and ideally deposited at least €22 you need to enter the contest:

As you can see, at the moment there are only 323 players registered and they need 5000 players to hit their guaranteed prize pool!!! That means if they only make it to 2000 or 3000 registered players, you have to beat less players but win the same money!!! This overlay could be huge!
Once you clicked "Enter(€22)" you will see a familiar screen:
After you selected your players, chose your Captain and Vice-Captain, you hit "Enter Tournament (€22)" on the right hand side:
The Team you see there is just a random draft, so do not copy it, I just needed something quick. :)
Yeah and that is it! You are in! You can tinker around until the timer in the upper right reaches 0. After the first game kicked off, you got the above mentioned 1 sub per week.
If the chance to win €20.000 for just €22 is not enough for you guys I can add some value. :)
All the guys that sign up and enter the contest using my links, will be eligible for a weekly Freeroll on Fanteam (I will only invite you guys into those Freerolls) and free Tickets to play weekly Tournaments on Fanteam. These tournaments are basically following the same logic as the season long one, just that the team is only eligible for one game week and then you get your prize money, no small print, just straight up fun and for the tickets winners it is for free, same chances, same prize money.
These tournaments also lock on the kick off of the first game, so you do not need to track the players all weekend long, perfect for busy daddies. :)

Finally! Here you can build your team. There are no Triple Captains, Free Hit's or Bench Boost's , Only one Captain, a Vice Captain (In case your Captain does not play) and a bench. You have a budget of €100.0 Million and you can substitute 1 player for free each week, additional substitutions will lower your accumulated points by 4 per sub.You can "save" 1 sub for next week but only up to 2 overall.

These weekly tournaments can obviously also be played without having a ticket. There are different buy in levels, starting from €1.10. The main event has a buy in of €11 and usually guarantees a prize pool of €10.000!!!
On top of that I will split 10% of my winnings in this season long contest between the 10 best players that registered through my blog!!! So that is another possible €200 per person, for free!!!
